If Jupiter (Guru) is placed in any other place in the entire kundali (in an exalted position), then it gives good results.

Step 1: To read an empty house in astrology, one should refer to the number written in the box. Each number is associated with a planet. For instance: 

Number 1,8= Mangal 

Number 2,7= Shukra 

Number 3, 6=Budh

Number 4=Chandrama 

Number 5=Surya 

Number 9,11=Guru

Number 10,11=Shani 

By analysing these numbers, you can determine the planet.   

Step 2: Locate the position of the empty house planet (Lord) in the birthchart. If it is located in Kendra/Trikon, exalted, or gazed upon by the Guru, then it will give good results. However, if the planet is placed in 6, 8, 12 houses or is gazed upon by Kurup Graha like Shani, Mangal, Rahu, or Ketu, then it will give bad results. An empty 4th house in astrology is not a sign of bad luck. This house signifies property, happiness, ancestral roots, and a relationship with the mother. How to Activate an Empty House in Astrology 

To activate an empty house in astrology, one should wear a gemstone. If the lord of an empty house is afflicted, then one can wear the gemstone of that house. For instance, if 2 is written in the empty house, then its lord is Shukra or Venus. In this case, one can wear an opal gemstone if the Shukra is:  

• Placed in 6,8, or 12 houses in astrology 
• Shukra is the lord of a good house, but is placed in an afflicted house.
